In addition to celebrity interviews, the series features segments on cooking, DIY, health and beauty, fitness, gardening, pet care, finances and parenting among other topics. Of course, a lot of different shows and movies were shut down due to COVID-19 and then production was resumed after new protocols were put in place.
It is NOT normal and should not promoted as such. I have noticed many disappointing changes in Hallmark channel over the past several years. Movies like “The Christmas Choir,” “Fallen Angel,” which I considered to be the upper echelon of Hallmark Christmas movies haven’t been on in years. If you compare the plotlines of these films and the newer releases, they are not even in the same league. Other favorites, such as “A Season for Miracles,” “Silver Bells,” and the humorous “Hitched for the Holidays” have also dropped out of circulation as well. I have been a devote fan of Hallmark until recently – they no longer represent the demographics of this country, rather they are favoring the far left.

I am so disappointed in Hallmark cancelling the Good Witch and there are a lot of the stars that use to be on their channels that are now gone. Shame on who ever is doing your programs. I am very upset about the changes Hallmark has made. I don’t understand the added narrator during the shows. There are many Christmas shows that have not been aired for many years.
I am more than a little disappointed with the changes. They think they are saving money but by cancelling our favorites like H & F and Good Witch, we will stop watching HM pretty soon. Tell us how does that help to save money? You won’t need them if you have no audience. I enjoy Golden Girls but enough is enough. I don’t care for the other shows you have stuck in there and I know GG word for word.

Since the show’s fans had developed connections to those two, it begs a question, what are they up to now. Based on her Instagram account, it seems very clear that Matenopoulos has made some branding deals as she is blatantly promoting several products. On top of that, it seems like Matenopoulos is spending time with her family as she figures out her next move. According to thewrap.com, Home & Family’s ratings were at an all-time high before it was canceled which makes it seem certain that viewership wasn’t responsible for the show’s cancelation. As a result, there is no way to know for sure why Home & Family was canceled since Hallmark Channel executives didn’t explain their thinking. Unfortunately for everyone involved in television production, the vast majority of shows don’t last long assuming they even make it to the air, to begin with.
Once she was gone, Debbie Matenopoulos was promoted from being a lifestyle expert on the show to a full-fledged co-host with Steines. I’m white and have been married to a man who has dark complexion for 54 years. I would hate to think we couldn’t be represented as a normal family. However the other troubling things and lack of values keeps me from watching Hallmark. I do not like the new way the movies are moving.
It appeared Santa was the replacement for God. When I heard last year they were having gay Christmas movies I felt this was a slap in the face to Christian values and beliefs. I stream now and I can choose and monitor what comes into my home. Recently I found a new station GAM and the movies and content is wonderful. I do not understand why companies embrace these WOKE ideas since they are alienating the majority of people. If we boycotted these businesses rather than just complain I believe companies would get the message.
Why do you think everything has to be Christian based? Are you incapable of living without spouting Bible crap? You do realize church attendance is at an all time low, right? And the reasons given whenever people are surveyed is that they are sick of having people shoved their fake Christian morals down their throats. The most hateful people I know call themselves christians. The biggest liars I know call themselves christians.
Home & Family is an American daytime talk show.
